HomeGrown Live 2012- Saturday May 12- Dowtown Kingston
We did it! The 2012 HomeGrown Live Music Festival reached our “unofficial goal” and raised over $11,000 and collected over 400 food donations. The combined efforts of the venue coordinators, dozens of bracelet sales volunteers, talented sound crews and technicians, stage managers and 335 volunteer musicians put on an awesome show. It was a wonderful expression of Kingston’s creatively rich and talented community which entertained an audience of close to 1500 people. The donations will allow Joe’s MILL to help keep that creative fire alive and provide much needed support to the Food Bank.. Thanks to all the volunteers, the supporting venues, Kingston Downtown Business Improvement Area, Kingston Sound Works, Kingston Whig-Standard, Kingstonist, HC Concepts, Lila Centre, Michael Parkinson, and the Fixer. Joe is smiling.
