Kingston’s Local Music Community Does it Again! ……………Raised over $9000
HomeGrown Live Music Festival 2011 was a great success. Not without its little problems, but a manageable level of stress for such a large, diverse, somewhat manic expression of music and talent. Approximately 80 acts, comprising 300 individuals, dozens of volunteers, and talented sound techs, entertained over 1000 people, at 11 locations around town, brought in 303 food donations, and raised over $9000. Sometime in early January or February 2012 we will check he pulse of our music community, volunteers, venues, and sponsor and see if we want to do this again! Watch this site for updates. Meanwhile thanks to everyone who made this happen and have great summer!
