Logan Brown & Taylor Angus
This talented duo (on the main stage at Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest, 2017), are as passionate about their music as they are of each other. Indie-Jazz duo Taylor Angus crafts a dynamic sound that belies the limited instrumentation found in their music. Seamlessly blending the music of yesterday with a modern twist, Taylor Angus is an unstoppable duo on the rise.
A singer-songwriter you do not want to miss, this former lead guitarist (Jason McCoy, Brea Lawrenson) has toured North America delighting audiences at major festivals such as Havelock Country Jamboree. Shawn was nominated three-times for the CCMA “Guitarist of the Year”, and won other notable awards. Shawn will perform original material and help with the Open Jam.

Out of the Blue Trio
Sean Corcoran (guitar and trombone) is Site Coordinator for Sistema Kingston, and an instructor through Queen’s Community Music. (http://www.queensu.ca/qcm/instructors/string-instructors/sean-corcoran-guitar). Multi-instrumentalist Josiah Ascough (electric bass today) is finishing his grade 12, and is involved in a variety of music projects in Kingston. Jacqueline Corcoran is a piano teacher, and plays jazz with the ‘Other Kingston Trio’.
As a founding member of renowned Canadian musical comedy trio “The Arrogant Worms”, Trevor is a musician, writer, educator, and audience pleaser. Trevor has toured Canada, with his wide collection of music aired on CBC Radio and campus radio nationally, blending rock-country-folk-ballads-parodies. Trevor is the keynote performer, an inspiration to many of the acts in this show.
The Valley Shantyman
This wildly entertaining interactive performance will expand your heart. As resident musician at Wilderness Tours, The Valley Shantyman is a gem, with music from the 1940s to the present (including original material), over 10 genres. He was recently welcomed into the inner circle of “Whiskey Jack”, the former band of ‘Stompin Tom’. Anticipate numerous additions to this show. Bring instruments!
