Kingston Irish Folk Club with the Henry Joys

Join us for an evening of great Celtic music and Irish dance – learn an Irish dance or play along with the Henry Joys or just come and watch the craic.

10:00
Ted Chew & Colin Skinner & The Celtic Kitchen Party

Ted Chew-Mimicking perfectly the riffs and sounds of The Celtic Kitchen Party’s top 40 tunes but with our own “celtic” flavouring. This talented fiddle player covers the low end of our vocal harmonies. Colin Skinner-This founding member of the Devil’s Own Pipe Band has over 30 years of piping experience, playing with several Military and Civilian Pipe Bands, and performing for international dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II. Neighbours are always ringing his doorbell in the middle of the night – fortunately, he is usually up practicing his pipes for the next CKP show.

11:00
Brian Flynn & The Celtic Kitchen Part

This songwriter/multi-instrumentalist (vocals, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, trumpet) is probably best known for his skills on his first instrument – the fiddle (started at the tender age of five). You’ll hear music from his classical violin origins making their way into contemporary songs! He is currently working on the follow up to 2002’s solo CD “For the Folks”.

12:00
Mr Ease

Join us for a good, happy, fun, dumb, soulful, and mysteriously motown-y time.
