Sonny Slide Maddams
Sonny Slide Maddams has been playing music for over 50 years. A slide guitarist, Sonny’s specialty is Roots and Blues music, performing on such instruments as National Resophonic guitars, lapsteels, acoustic guitar, and banjitar. Sonny Slide’s music goes way back to the 1920′s, playing the classics of Blues masters such as Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Bukka White, and Sleepy John Estes as well as contemporary blues and originals. We have travelled the open mic circuit surrounding Tweed (our home town) and invited several times to NK2 Belleville. Busking at Frontporch Shinangans Stirling and Porchfest Belleville (2 years) and this year at Tweed Front Porch Rukus. Gigs at Hastings House, Church Key and upcoming – March 31 Port Bistro Pub Trenton Ontario. Many local Tweed fundraisers, car shows and special services.
Christopher Rio is a Nigerian rhythm and blues singer/songwriter who gained prominence after he was a top 8 finalist on The Voice Nigeria in 2017. With musical influences like Usher Raymond, Mali Music, Lucky Dube, Westlife amongst others, he bares his soul with his unique delivery and versatility across different genres showcasing his versatility. He seeks to take his listeners on many a journey through his mind’s eye with every song and every lyric, armed with a brilliant lush tenor voice texture – the type you can listen to all day.
Performing original and traditional country, blues and folk-rock, his first album in 1999 received independent radio play in Canada, Australia, U.K., New Zealand, France and Holland. Geoffrey has performed on Rogers Cable TV, Global TV and several times live on CFRC Radio. His original song “Anybody Seen My Girl” has received radio play on CBC Radio, and television play in Sweden. He is a regular performer at The Limestone City Blues Festival and performed at the Homegrown Live Festival for the first time in May 2018. Jeff J Gaulton
Jeff J Gaulton is a solo acoustic singer-songwriter from Kingston, Ontario. Jeff has over 25 years of stage experience and his passion for the music is evident in every raw and emotional performance. Along with his original material Jeff includes respectable covers of Delta Blues, Heartland Rock and Canadian influenced Roots music. More info.
Dr Tom and The Tomcats
This a classic blues band, composed of four veteran musicians, playing old-time groovin’ blues and danceable blues favourites. Featuring: Richard Burgman (Guitar), Dan Costa (Drums), Mike Pacey (Bass), and Tom Stewart (Lead Vocals and Harmonica).
Boag & The Braveyard Whips
Est 1991 from the ashes of The Unsung Heroes (Peter Gurney, Spencer Evans, Joe Chithalen & Chris Ward.) A lineup of revolving local lights through ’96 playing “roadhouse soul” style country, blues and rock&roll. New & used. 22 yrs later, Boag reformed The Whips with veteran greats Jack Troughton, Roger O’Handley, Deb Schuurmans & Bonz in late ’18 & soon got back at it & lovin’ it!.:)

Riley & Riley
We have performed in Memphis on Beale Street as regional winners of the International Blues Contest. We have 2 CD’s and are working on a third. Our blues is original and loosely based on the Mississippi Delta sound. Our sound in modernized and edgy with a heavy reliance on the shuffle and boogie beats.
Sweet Pete & The Heat
Sweet Pete and the Heat are a collective of local musicians who play with various bands in Kingston. Meeting each other at various open mics and house parties we all share a love of dirty, funky blues music inspired by everyone from Junior Wells, Muddy Waters and Van Morrison to lesser known artists such as Lucky Peterson and Snooky Prior. Our goal is to get people dancing and thats what we do.
