Clem Chesterfield Welcome & Kickoff
The Alt Country persona of Kingston singer/songwriter Tim Sheffield, Clem’s songs are a respectful nod to Old Time and Outlaw Country music, setting his stories in the modern age. Songs of tragedy and heartache have never sounded sweeter than when Clem offers them sincerely and honestly, solo or with a band. Check out his “Words Of Whisky” at clemchesterfield.com
I was born into the post-industrial economy and agricultural landscapes of Chatham-Kent. I have been in the clutches of the limestone city for 7 years. My music is a mix of country aesthetic and punk rock ethic. My latest EP attempts to understand how people find the last threads of courage to continue living when faced with struggle. www.jwlrose.com

Hips and Harmonies
Originally from Brockville, Carla and Jess are a mother/daughter duo who will perform any song that tickles their fancy – especially if they can include sweet harmonies. They play country and folk music primarily, but you never know what they will try to cover. Jess’ instrument of choice is her watermelon ukulele, while Carla plays guitar and mandolin. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_jqAduN5arEqdzo3odUqtg
The United Steelpickers
These four fellows get together to jam once a week, having played the HomeGrown Live Music Festival for the past two years, and performed at the Royal Tap Room. They’re influenced by a range of country artists including Hank Williams, John Prine, and John Anderson. The members are Wayne Oakley, Bill Florence, Bram Fisher and Stephen Strople.
Carla Hartsfield and Dusk
Carla’s original songs are traditional and roots based. With Randy Charlton she developed a show around the music of Gram Parsons. They perform a nice mix of both at shows. They’ve just released a new original single titled “Maybe Crazy.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaOg6ktzGCk . Opening for Steve Earle in Toronto, this song was a crowd favourite. https://www.carlahartsfield.band
