Lucanus Pell
Lucanus Pell, musically known as The Man From Hell, was born in Toronto but has spent most of his life in Northern Ontario and now resides in Kingston where he plans to stay. Pell has written many songs and recorded all types of music including folk, funk, blues, rock, hip hop, reggae, jazz, pop and much more. The Man From Hell currently has almost 40,000 fans on Reverbnation where he became the number one ranked Canadian Songwriter for 6 months straight in 2012. Lucanus has over 20 official music videos most of which he directed and edited himself with some of his best work filmed around the Kingston area. He has played with or opened for great artists and bands such as Juno nominated Skullfist, Auresia, B.Rich, The Weber Brothers, Adams Rib, 24th Street Wailers and legendary bluesman Jimmie Vaughan. Pell moved to Kingston on a whim to play music and be a part of the artistic community and within less than a month, he wowed The Royal Jam and packed the Musiikki Cafe full of very enthusiastic fans; most of whom he had just met, and created a buzz from the RCHA to the Rose and Crown Open Mic. The Man From Hell has certainly found a home in Kingston, and hopes the city will one day embrace his talent and claim him as their own as he rises to the top. He is a true performer with tons of creativity and potential to make the whole world stop and listen. Lucanus dreams to one day be recognized as one of the best songwriters in the country and entertain thousands in arenas with a big band orchestra playing his greatest hits. His original music can be found worldwide on Spotify, Apple, iTunes, Amazon and more. |

Galvanic 42
Galvanic 42 stripped down to its basic elements is a band composed of a traditional alignment of guitar, bass and drums. These three elements conspire to produce original music rising out of the rust of society. This corrosion of metallic elements is influenced by the universal constant in direct proportion to the meaning of life (42). Iain provides a driving beat, to backdrop some searing guitar from Andy, and a mercurial bass from Huw that ties together vocals that are formed from the geographic entity that is Kingston Ontario. It’s all about the sounds that these elements create. Galvanic 42 performs and composes original music and adds some creative interpretations of Canadiana and anything else we can throw into the mix. |
