The HomeGrown Live Music Festival is a one-day festival with multiple venues where audiences can enjoy everything from alternative to blues, rock to jazz and everything in between. The Treebot is a strange creature of unknown origin, sent to Earth to assume the appearance of the dominant life form. At first it assumed human form, but then it realized that humans worshipped screens, and corrected the mistake. Armed with strange devices, the Treebot set out to spread the knowledge of the universe through improvised/dance electronic music. |

In 2013, Tony D. Light (Kingston Ukulele Society) & Jimmy Tubaface (Owl Farm) formed Dingers inspired by drone legends Spacemen 3, 1970-80’s horror movie scores, and the belief that experimental acts don’t have enough “between-song” banter. Capt. Footbags (Slaves of Spanky) soon joined, adding a live looping element to the mix. |

Mike Myers Trio
Michael K. Myers was the composer-performer in numerous Theatre 5 productions that toured Ontario schools, and theatres, in the 70’s, and 80’s. Over the years Michael has played in many local Kingston bands, duos, and trios.(The Growing Pains, The City Slickers, Paddy Whack). Presently he’s the vocalist for The Big Phat Horn Band, and bassist/singer in Hat Trick.
